Flowers For You

Here is a colorful example of what Silverlight can do with the help of a designers’s creativity and a developer’s sensitivity.

Malaysian Florist 'Flowers for You' has combined ASP.NET AJAX and Silverlight to create an attractive e-commerce Web site. The impressive catalog uses video, sound, and animation to showcase its beautiful flower arrangements.

Are you kidding me? No self-respecting designer would put their name on this.

Rather, it looks like some dev figured out how to do basic things in SL and went overboard.

Honestly, minus the video background (which is badly cropped), this is a beginner's DHTML page.

If this is supposed to be a SL showcase piece, Flash has nothing to worry about :)

Hey, that's a good update on Flash Player.
You guys are pretty fast to update on the newer releases, considering the fact that Adobe released it only yesterday.
Keep it up guys.

And yes Kedar, I am watching this space.
